Duplicate Multiple Objects in a Package

Dear Guru's

Let me share one good feature of ODI11g.

We can duplicate more than one step in a package at a time.

Consider the following package having six steps.

I am going to duplicate 3steps at a time.

Select the required 3 steps using mouse or ctrl key.
In this case i selected the steps GetTheFileName,PopTrgWithThisFileName and checkForMoreFiles.

Then go to the icon task bar tab and click on the icon 'duplicate step'

Then it will duplicate the selected steps.

The above figure illustrates the results

In this way we can duplicate any number of steps in a package easily and quickly.

MULTIPLE SOURCE FILES-MULTIPLE TARGET TABLES-SINGLE INTERFACE

Hi Guru’s,
We have seen in the last post how to load multiple source files of same structure into a single table.
Suppose if we want to load multiple source files into multiple target tables.
Then please just follow the same procedure which I explained in the previous post and do a little change to the target data store.
Open the source data store which is participating of the interface and replace the resource name with #Project_Name.FILE_NAME

Note : Project_Name means your project name
That’s it .

Thanks Guru's
